What to expect from the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro

Google has already shown us what the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro look like on its website, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about what they can do. The company claims that the new phones have “the most advanced Pixel cameras yet, and Google AI to help you do more, even faster.” That sounds intriguing, right?

Well, according to a leaked video, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will have some incredible camera features that are controlled by “Google AI”. For example, you’ll be able to swap out blurry faces for sharp ones in a photo, or enhance the video stabilization and audio isolation when recording a video. You’ll also be able to take stunning photos in very low light with night mode.

The Pixel 8 will be the smaller of the two phones, and only the Pixel 8 Pro will have a telephoto camera. The phones will come in a carnation pink and a white color, and they will have a sleek design with rounded edges.

What to expect from the Google Pixel Watch 2

Google has also teased its new smartwatch, the Pixel Watch 2, on its website. The watch will have a circular display and a rotating crown for navigation. It will run on Wear OS, which is Google’s operating system for smartwatches. We don’t know much else about the watch, but we hope it will have a long battery life, a robust health and fitness tracking system, and seamless integration with other Google services.

We’re excited to see what Google has in store for us today. Stay tuned for more coverage of the Made by Google event and the Pixel 8 launch.
